Birla Precision Technologies (formerly known as Birla Kenmetal) is planning an expansion programme with an investment of Rs. 400 million. It currently manufactures precision components and machining tools like  in its Aurangabad facility. It supplies to its parent co Kenmetal USA and to other manufacturers like Cummins, Husco and in far-east.
